sammy

My family recently got a turtle named sammy.  It is sorta ironic how we got sammy.  We were going to petco to get my brother kolton a Betta fish.   My mom saw the red ear turtles. We looked at them and considered getting one, but after lots of thought we decided not too because there survival equipment such as  food,a heat light, water conditioner and of course a tank was to expensive.  So than we came home and were looking on craigslist for a kitten for me. We saw a sammy on craigslist and my dad called the number and three days later we got a turtle named sammy and all his equipment for free.  So that's how we got out turtle named sammy.

Apples

Today I wanted to share another poem I hope you like it.

           

Apples, apples everywhere in the trees and in the cider.  In the fruit bowls.  Great alone or with a friend. Eat your apples baked in pies or eat your apples in a tart. Eat your apples all day long and enjoy the tasty treats.

crazy snow

Today we had tons of snow.  Now living in Alaska you would expect snow, but this snow was CRAZY! We had 12 inches of snow with tons of wind in 24 hours. It was so bad we had to go to a neighbors house, while my mom went grocery shopping so if the car got stuck we would not be there. It was so crazy. I just wanted to share how much snow we had today in Fairbanks, Alaska.

We are suppose to get 4 to 6 more inches by tonight and more on Friday. Will someone please take me out of this winter wonderland.

Homeschooling

Like I said in my first post I am a homeschooler and today I wanted to tell you what it's like to be homeschooled.  I have been homeschooled since the third grade and I am now in fourth grade.  Homeschooling is a lot easier because you don't have fifteen to twenty people in your class. Homeschooling is fun because you do not have to do eight hours of school.  Sometimes we can do games in school. One day we made bouncy balls witch was fun and easy. Something else we did was made a model of Jamestown, that was a lot of work, but fun too.

I personally love it!

happy birthday!!

Today is my grandma's birthday so I wanted to give her a special shout out .  My grandma is the best! I do her hair, she plays games with me and so much more.                               

I love you grandma, and happy birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fireworks

A couple of weeks ago I wrote a poem and I wanted to share it with you.  Enjoy!

Fireworks pretty as can be, lighting up the sky entertaining you and me.  Vroom vroom goes the cars, coming to see.  Make room for everyone to see. The display was as loud as loud can be. Boom, boom, pop, pop.

My Shadow

A couple weeks ago we got a new dog his name is Shadow.  Shadow is a Black Lab and is lots of fun.  Shadow likes to play.  Shadow obeys very well and is really very protective.  Shadow is around seven years of age.  Shadow likes our other dog Manning and they sometimes play together. Manning and Shadow are good friends even though Manning is only two years old.  I guess a dog can be a girls best friend too.
